“While the coronavirus has caused catastrophic losses, it offers us the chance to figure out things that are vital for our life and focus more on our inner world. To some extent, self-isolation has given me a different perspective on what we take for granted.”

New cases of infection hasn’t increased in Guiyang since 28 March. Things seem to be back to normal, although people still have to wear masks while going out.

I was reading near the window when the ‘noise’ from the roads caught my attention. Normally, I would never ‘appreciate’ it. To me, it’s sort of a distraction. However, I was moved by the energetic and bustling streets of the city when I heard it that morning, so, I immediately grabbed my iPhone to record it.

Staying home for a long period of time didn't bother me that much. I was carefree, far away from the crowd, and the hustle and bustle, like a feather floating in the air.

As the weather got warmer, l felt the strong urge to take photos, smell the green grass, and deeply breathe in the fresh air.
