People’s Park
This experimental project features six participating artists whose identities remained anonymous until the project was completed over the course of a month. The artists were paired randomly and communicated exclusively through self-selected nicknames — Alligator, Bamboo, The Boy Named Crow, God, Koala, and Inner Peace — which did not bear any semblance to their true identities.
This anonymity allowed an unrestrained exchange of thoughts and ideas, rendering the artists free from any preconceptions or conscious alterations of their expressions. Without restrictions and fear of revealing themselves, how have the creatives spoken of and for themselves? The goal of this project was to create an environment where ideas and perspectives could be exchanged without restrictions or fear, enabling the artists to communicate and express themselves as artists in a manner beyond their usual approach.
