  • Collaboration means two or more people working together on the same project for a decent amount of time. They exchange ideas, work methods, and certain levels of emotion. They work towards a common goal, although with many differences among themselves. Thus, they become "one" during the journey.

  • Clear goal, meaning short-term goal, mid-term goal, and long-term goal.

Less ego as much as possible.

High efficiency in communication and working with high EQ

Mutual trust based on everything above.

    [The] same level of morality.

  • Why Compose in 2014

In a dream in 2014, I asked, "Why compose?" I couldn't compose a single note after this dream until two months later when I came up with an answer. My answer was: I don't ask why I breathe, so it is the same with the question, "Why compose." Composing should be purely natural, without judgment, without pre-conditions, without the boundaries of what is good or not, without genre, and without time. Just like breathing.

    Panic attack in 2022

When I received my commission to compose music for the Dun Ren Psychiatric Hospital [in Taiwan], I had a severe panic attack, which resulted in long-lasting autonomic nerve system dysfunction. However, being able to suffer gave me the righteousness and the honesty to compose this music, which ultimately became the album, Earthing. This experience changed my way of composing - I needed to help myself, convince myself, and rebuild myself. Since then, my music has become more powerful, and you can hear the strength. This whole journey also validated my questions about being an artist - I'm a full-time bean sprout farmer. However, the crops I grow may only sometimes be edible and serve as spiritual sustenance.  The opportunity to compose music for the patients in the psychiatric hospital, who are the least appreciated in society, solved my questions.

  • Who am I? Where am I? And letting go of "I."
